paysera audit
Paysera LT, UAB, a key player in the Paysera group based in Lithuania, has announced its audited 2023 financial results, showcasing the company's strong performance in terms of stability and profitability. The fintech company also introduced innovative solutions and service enhancements for its clients throughout the year.

The revenue of Paysera LT in 2023 remained almost unchanged at EUR 10.6 million, meanwhile, the fintech company's net profit amounted to EUR 7 million.

"The year 2023 marked a period of stability, profitability, and innovation for our organisation. The return on investment allowed us to significantly enhance our profitability indicators and introduce new products and services to the market. This enables us to consistently invest in expansion and fortify our position in global markets. In 2023, we initiated changes to create a more client-centric organisation and actively embrace artificial intelligence. Enhancing these areas remains our top priority this year" – says Marijus Planciunas, CEO of Paysera.

Throughout 2023, Paysera actively expanded its service portfolio. The fintech company began the integration of the Apple Pay payment solution for e-shops and their clients, which was successfully launched in April 2024. The ability to invest in InRento real estate rental projects through the Paysera app, introduced this month, was also developed back in 2023.

"The integration of InRento's real estate rental investment opportunities is just the beginning. We have plans to incorporate more third-party services into our super app in the near future. Our goal is to provide our clients with a centralised platform where they can access a wide range of services, while simultaneously enhancing and diversifying our portfolio of products and services" – says M. Planciunas.

More funds in accounts, more transfers, and more paid shopping carts

In 2023, Paysera also successfully and steadily increased the volume of online payment processing and its client base.

The company processed EUR 1.1 billion worth of e-commerce payments, compared to EUR 985 million in 2022. The other companies within the Paysera group are also experiencing intense growth and dynamics.

At the end of 2023, the average amount of funds held in Paysera LT client accounts reached around EUR 515 million. Furthermore, the company's clients transferred EUR 11.2 billion.

Responsible attitude towards environmental protection

Managing inflationary challenges and aiming to contribute to sustainability, in 2023, Paysera acquired a 1.5-megawatt (MW) solar power park, together with a 250-kilowatt (kW) wind farm on the park's premises. These steps not only helped the company generate additional revenue from energy production but also significantly reduced its environmental footprint – over the past year, these initiatives have prevented the emission of more than 98,000 kg of CO2. Furthermore, Paysera has invested in two 99 kW power plants, which will start generating electricity this year.
